THE ARCHITECTURE AND URBAN PLANNING COMPETITION FOR THE PROJECT OF THE ART PLATFORM IN SUNCHEON AIMED TO REVITALIZE A NEGLECTED PART OF THE CITY AND CREATE A CULTURAL “LANDMARK” THAT WILL ATTRACT TOURISTS.
The city’s cultural potential plays a key role in shaping society. We believe that treating culture as the main driving force of the renewal process improves the city’s image and attractiveness. We think about the project in Suncheon as a place that is strongly noticeable in the city landscape and offers visitors the opportunity to be in touch with art and people.
Our goal is to create an inspirational environment for art and education in which, creativity, mutual understanding and respect are at the center of attention. This idea is reflected in the land development plan and functional arrangement of the Art Center.
